Search before you post

Before creating a new suggestion, please search on Nolt beforehand to see if a similar idea already exists.
If you find one, upvote it and add a constructive comment explaining how this feature would benefit your workflow/business, rather than creating a new post.

This helps our team prioritize popular requests and keeps all related discussions in one place, making it easier for us to track and evaluate community feedback efficiently

Write a Clear and Descriptive Title

Your title should clearly indicate the subject of your feature suggestion. A concise, specific title helps others quickly understand the focus of your idea. When adding a clear title to prevent any duplicate tickets, Nolt will suggest tickets already within the system with similar titles that might be for the same feature.
Example: Instead of “Improve reports”, use “Add customizable date filters to the Sales Report page.”
See below an example of a poor title:

Provide Detailed Information

In the description, include as much relevant detail as possible. Try to cover the following points:

  • What you want the feature to do: Describe the functionality in clear, simple terms.

  • How it should interact with other parts of the system: Mention any related tools, processes, or pages it would affect.

  • Why it matters to your business: Explain how this feature would help your day-to-day operations or improve your workflow.

The more specific your explanation, the easier it is for our team to understand the value and feasibility of your request. Providing detailed information also helps prevent misunderstandings, ensuring that any future development work fully addresses your desired outcome.

Keep Your Suggestion Safe and Compliant

To protect all users and ensure a productive environment, please follow these safety and moderation guidelines:

  • Do not include external links. For security reasons, any suggestion containing links will be removed. We cannot verify or whitelist links, and they may pose a safety risk to other customers.
  • Avoid sharing personal or confidential information. Do not include customer names, account details, or sensitive data in your suggestion.
  • Be respectful and constructive. Focus on describing your idea clearly rather than expressing frustration.
  • Keep it professional. Suggestions or comments that violate community standards or contain inappropriate language will be removed.

By following these rules, you help maintain a secure and respectful space for everyone.

Don’t Reference Support Tickets

Please avoid linking or referencing your existing support tickets within your suggestion. These tickets are private and cannot be viewed by other customers.
Additionally, do not:

  • Create a support ticket to try to escalate or “bump” your suggestion.
  • Post repeated comments in your suggestion to gain attention.

Both actions will result in the related content being removed.

Use This Quick Checklist Before Submitting

Before you post your suggestion, take a moment to review this checklist:

âś… Searched existing suggestions: Avoids duplicates and supports shared ideas.
âś… Clear title: Describes exactly what the feature relates to.
âś… Detailed description: Explains what the feature should do, how it interacts with other parts of the system, and why it matters.
âś… Safe and compliant: No links, personal data, or inappropriate content.
âś… No ticket references or spam: Keeps your post professional and organized.

Following this checklist helps ensure your suggestion is complete, safe, and easy for our team and other customers to engage with.

Remember to upvote other ideas!

Part of this process is about collaboration — working together with other stok.ly users to support the features you all want.
The more votes an idea receives, the more likely it is to be reviewed and prioritized by our team.
Please note: while voting is anonymized for customers, the stok.ly team can see who has raised and voted for ideas internally to help us understand engagement and context.

What Happens After You Post an Idea?

Once your suggestion is submitted, our development team reviews new ideas regularly.
You will see updates on your post as it progresses through the stages, such as:

  • Under Review – Our team is evaluating the idea.
  • Planned – The feature has been accepted and added to our roadmap.
  • Coming soon – Development work has started.
  • Completed - This feature is live.

While not every suggestion can be implemented, we regularly review highly supported ideas for inclusion in future development sprints.
Your feedback helps guide our roadmap and ensures that new features deliver real value to our users
